Pork shoulder sitting on apples. Pork, gravy and apple sauce rolls for dinner since DH and I are both on crutches

    Subbing! Love it!

My slow cooked meals are all the same colour and bland no matter how much flavour I add at the start...

@Ahalfdozen thank you! You've solved the dinner dilemma for us tonight! We'll all be freezing (except DS1) from standing at footy, and I'm excited to come home to a warming meal.

I'm just bumping up this old thread in the hope of some new slow cooker inspiration. I'm finding cooking at dinner time isn't working for me at the moment as dd1 is at her rattiest and dd2 clusterfeeds then.

Tomorrow I'm going to have my first attempt at slow cooker risotto.

I've brought a lamb keg to do a roast tomorrow night. Love the old 'set and forget' and come home to the smell of roast meat!

I've made this Orange Beef Stew a couple of times now and the whole family loves it! I don't put spring onion in but I've cooked it fresh and as a 'freeze and dump' and both worked.

Pulled pork is s fav in my house. The gravy is to die for!

I do whole chickens in mine with garlic , soy sauce and lemons.

    Beef cheeks is a hit.

I could go on and on lol
