yep - cold turkey best way to go.

It took a while, but I managed to kick the habit ... and after about a month the cravings to go away.

that month is pretty hard though

I have gone back to having some every few days or sometimes every day ... but its much MUCH less. I dont need to eat half a block of chocolate anymore

I eat the 85% cocoa solids dark chocolate. I find its so bitter that I only need 1 or 2 little squares to be satisfied.

If that's too bitter to start with, try the 45% cocoa first and build your way up.

If I have a normal dairy milk block or any other milk chocolate, I find it very hard to stop at less than 8 - 10 pieces and could do that a couple of times a day!

I have the Lindt 70% cooking chocolate. A couple of squares here and there do the trick and I believe it's good for me!! 😁

I'm currently going cold turkey. It's so hard especially when one of my students gives me chocolate every Friday..

Thanks everyone! When I worked I was so much more restrained diet wise but since being at home with my kids I find I eat so much more & my choices are worse. I'm still BFing so I know I need to eat a bit more, but when I worked I just took my lunch and that was it. I have no self control!

I might start out with some dark chocolate, at least then I'll have less!
