    Default Paid Parental Leave

    If you don't claim PPL during your time off work can it be claimed in a lump sum at tax time?

    No, the purpose of ppl is to provide the primary carer an opportunity to spend time with newborn, it's not designed to be taken as lump sum.
    You can take it with in the first 34 weeks of bubs life ( 18+34= 52)
