    Default Party food inspiration

Hi there. I'm looking for some food inspiration for a 2 year old birthday party.

We have (lots) if adults (including a paleo or two), a couple of tweens and a small bunch of toddlers (including a couple that are dairy-free and non strict vegans). It's an afternoon event, so snacks rather than main meal

    So far I have:
    - cake
    - dairy-free cupcakes for littlies
    - fruit skewers/kebabs
    - sausage rolls
    - air popped popcorn
    - carrot/celery/crackers and dips (hommus etc)

    Any more ideas?

    Only if crust less.

If you wanted more paleo stuff you could do chicken kebab skewers (like with tenderloins), some little meatballs on skewers (you can find heaps of paleo meatball recipes online) or devilled eggs.

Or just do some sandwiches and maybe a cheese, cracker and cold meat platter.

    Now I want soft cheese

    Great ideas!

Will do mini quiches (with and without pastry) and fairy bread

I'll have to think of some creative sandwich fillers - we are vegemite family :P Vegemite sandwiches won't pass the party test!

Some party sandwich fillings I do are:

Smoked salmon, capers, baby spinach and cream cheese.
    Roast chicken, avocado and mayonnaise.
    Turkey, lettuce and cranberry.
Roast beef, lettuce, tomato and mustard.

I still normally do a few Vegemite or Vegemite and cheese sandwiches for kids parties. They always get eaten, don't know if it's the kids or adults either ;p

Much better than vegemite! All I could think of was cheese and tomato, so I appreciate the (much needed) help. Thank you

Yep - a vegemite sandwich will never be wasted around here. Even the horses eat them

Cold meat platter with some finger food salad bits (eggs, tomatoes, cucumber) added to the list, plus some kebabs etc for BBQ. Thanks!! The shopping list is growing!! Thank goodness it's an afternoon thing so I can get all this ready.
