My DS's interests change regularly, so I'm gonna wait until closer to Xmas.
That, and I can't be bothered planning so far ahead

I started in the big w toy sales and have also put a lay buy on at target and kmart. Between the three lay buys I have Christmas and his birthday sorted in march. Dh's Christmas present has also been sorted in the target lay buy. Over the next few months I will get everyone else sorted slowly over the next few months. Being a single income family it is a necessity that I get organized early

I used to do the toys sales and the. Decided it wasn't for me always change my mind or kids taste change by Christmas so I start Xmas shopping in November I like shopping in the Christmas spirit.

I wanted to buy a trampoline but I don't have enough $$ the kids will get clothes
I only need buy a present for my brother who is 30 but has Down syndrome so he will like a ps4 game etc and a costume.

when do you start planning for chistmas presents?
We've just done ours- usually I'd do it around sept but did it earlier this year as we will have a newborn at Xmas.
Not too early at all, that's why they have the toy sales now
As you said though the challenge will be keeping myself from giving dd some of hers beforehand.
I'm also worried about her interests changing but I'm sure she'll enjoy them anyway

I have started to think about it in the last month. But I really have no idea what to get ds!

I normally start around now, DH hates laybying so we buy everything and then hide it... but DS has started playing hide and seek in our cupboards so will have to hide them at work with me.
Disappointed target isn't doing no deposit layby though makes it hard when you are on monthly pay.
We are also going to Mackay for 10 days in oct so i will buy clothes etc there for DS and neice and nephew's presents while we are there
