@Skyler Oh shiz Luv, I hadn't realised you were struggling quite so badly emotionally Luv

What a lazy mole that you work with!! Don't feel bad for losing your shiz about her, it was probably about time a few home truths were said!!! I'd love to be a Vet Assistant/Nurse but I know deep down inside I'm probably a bit too sensitive and would be spending a lot of my days dropping my bundle and taking shares in Kleenex!!! I know it's not all bad though Luv. It's what stopped me seriously considering becoming a Maternity nurse as well when I was a teenager thinking about what career I might like to do. I'm too much of a frucking sook!!

Anyhoo...I'm glad you have the insight to know that you need to speak to the counsellor and you need that kind of specialised help to get things back into perspective to help you get back on track or make decisions etc. I really hope tomorrow's appointment helps get you back on an even keel mentally and emotionally

If you lived closer I'd flick some Valium your way just to see you through!!! Mind you, I think it's prescribed for animals sometimes too??? In which case, you could probably help yourself!!! LOFL!!!

Hey Tuxcat congratulations on your award! It's nice to have a boost like that. Seeing as I may be imminently turfing my job we could re-institute the pj's and kitty cat club? Just got to find a way of making it profitable?!

Beckymae oh no I can't see a line fruck it. Could have been a chemical.

Chiefsgirl I also would probably donate left over embies to science like Blonde said but of course they are yours and you could always try for the rugby team, or netball team or both!

Lol, thanks Blonde, I've got valium left over from embie transfers but I won't take it just at the moment because I don't like the hangover feeling. Yes this particular staff member needs to go, they have tried sacking her but they didn't do it properly with all the correct written warnings and such so she out maneuvered them and kept her job! I just don't think I can stay while they take maybe another year or so to kick her out. Actually you would be great in any of the caring professions, you wouldn't be a sook. Yeah I did not realise I was struggling this badly either, it snuck up on me over a couple of days and BANG.

@Skyler aw jeeze the last thing we need is work stress on top of IVF stress. I would have gone bananas if I was still freelancing. I hope the counselor can help you.
@Chiefsgirl FYI They don't allow 'on donation' here and when I asked Genea about giving frosties to science they basically said they've already got loads!
@tuxcat congrats on your prize! Good things come in three don't they? Sorry, more magical thinking

AFM:- EPU is at 7am on thursday. Eeek.

as I understand it @beckymae, you can still do frozen cycles after 45 at rpa but it'd be worth double checking with them to be sure. I'm counting on this too if nothing works before then - am 45 in dec.

jeez she sounds like a nightmare to work with @Skyler. I'm glad you stood up for yourself. I hope the appt with the counselor goes ok. try and take some more time off. it takes a while for your body to heal after surgery, longer than we often expect. plus you've had all the emotional stuff with ivf. hugs

oh, just caught up. sorry to see your latest result @beckymae. I hope you're ok
@tuxcat, congrats on the award money! that's great news. I hope it's not proper af arriving. could it be the meds?

afm, still feel crampy. more today. if I calculated correctly (not sure with dates on this cycle) if af is coming, she'd arrive friday, so wed-thurs their might be some spotting. maybe I'll wait till thursday & try a test & see what happens about spotting tomorrow night. I'd rather find out in the evening so I can cry at home instead of finding out in the morning then having to hold it together at work. but then I keep thinking I should try one tomorrow. not sure if it's too early then though. I think it'd be 7dp5dt tomorrow. (12dp ov/epu). it feels like af is on her way so not feeling too confident. realistically speaking, my eggs are ~44.5yrs old so if they did work it'd be a miracle.

thanks for everyone's well wishes though

@Skyler yes I would love to bring back the kitty and pj club!! I was doing pretty well with that today - bought new Peter Alexander ugg boots and I could live in them (so that's what I'm doing!) they are sheer heaven. I'm so sorry to hear that work has been so bad, really glad to hear the clinic are doing their bit with counselling, God knows they get paid enough!! I hope it helps you, and as winsor said it takes time to recover from surgery, probably a lot longer than we give ourselves time for. Take care and vent away as much as you like...I'll be sitting by my computer in my pjs! with ms tuxcat.
@winsor I hope your cramps are a promising sign, I feel nothing much actually, even my ovary pains have gone today. I'm expecting more spotting tomorrow, there been a little more today, but not enough to know for sure. You could test tomorrow, I thought I might if there's no blood in the morning. Thursday would be a safe bet tho. Good luck, I hope you get there
@Bongley haha yeah, somehow I don't think the third prize is coming my way but the fat lady hasn't sung, I think she's just been warming up

im ok I think I've already resigned myself so it will just be confirmation. Been here before!!!
