    Default Can anyone tell me what works well for baby photoshoot?

    Hi, we're getting some baby plus family photos done on Monday. Our DD will be 4 weeks old. We mainly want photos done of her but we also want a few of myself, DH & DD.

    She's our first child & we've never had proper photos done before.

    Can anyone tell me what they normally wear & what works well in pictures? Also, how should I dress DD? They just advised us to wear clothes we're comfortable in which doesn't help me much haha.

    Any suggestions would be very greatly appreciated!

    DP and I just wore black clothes and DD was naked! Is it not in a studio? If it weren't in a studio I would advise your hubby or partner to wear something a little more formal. A NOFX shirt might seem silly in 20 years time. If I had a male DP I'd ask him to wear a button up shirt, nice sweater and I'd wear a dress.

    I would wear a dress or jeans and a nice top then put your Dd in something bright hope that makes sense. Our last photo dd was in pink dress, then a yellow dress. A few headbands etc. DH wore a blue shirt and I wore maxi dress that was pink/ then I wore some other shirts too. DH did a arm photo too hope that makes sense haha

    For my DS I wore a black maxi dress and DH wore a black polo shirt with dark jeans. For our DD's photos which we just had done, DH, DS and I all wore our jeans. DH wore a white polo this time, DS wore a navy polo and I wore a white floaty top. Both my babies were only a week old for their photos. We had them done in a studio so they were naked for most of it or wrapped in a blanket or shawl or propped in a bowl or bucket with a hat or headband hope that helps.
