So glad you kicked him out, better to be angry than manipulated. The birth is a medical procedure where you will be at your most vulnerable, you need to be surrounded by love and care. There is nothing vindictive about that and if he sees otherwise it's his problem not yours.
You are a single mum, give the baby your name. Its not the end of the world if the child doesn't have his last name, women have dealt with that for many years. The worst that happens is he takes you to court and then you hyphenate. At least you tried.

You poor thing, what an awful situation. It's for the best that he's not there. I'm not sure if anyone has said this but once your baby is born your body is inundated with hormones and you have strong feelings of love, for everyone and anything within reach, if he's at the birth, this is only going to cause you turmoil.
Focus on yourself and baby, you are strong and amazing xx

WWYD- Babys surname
Thank God you found out now and not after your beautiful boy is born. What a sign that it's ok to **** him off and move on with your life without this disrespectful no-hoper weighing you down.
Grieve, move on, love your boy, and hold your head high, knowing you tried your best and absolutely none of this is on you.
Please stay strong. Don't let him weasel his way back into your life any more.

You've done the right thing hon, he's not worth any of your energy right now. He's one big fat disappointment of a human being right there.
You will know a new kind of love when you meet your little boy for the first time. It's truly an amazing thing

Thank you everyone. Now the whole truth is out i feel a lot more at peace with the decision to move forward on my own. No more clouds of what if are hanging over me. He is genuinely a piece of ****!
In a way i feel relieved, and at least i can focus on my gorgeous son instead of deciphering his bull**** lies.

You should be so proud of yourself. Now it's time to focus on you and your little boy. Get mum/gf to come stay and have some girly distraction time before bub arrives and when he does you'll never look back! x
Stay strong! xxxxxx
