Not sure. If we ever marry I suppose it's worth asking.

Edit. Just thinking about it, I guess it's no different to me wanting to do that now, except that I would have DP's surname myself.

I would compromise- he can stay in the house with you and your child, if he agrees to the child having your surname.

If not, hyphenate it and he live elsewhere.

I believe he has as much right to have a say in this as you do, but if it is going to stress you out, give him the choice.

Thank you for thinking of me...

Things are ok. At the moment he is on the couch. Its all very hard for me as i naturally want to be affectionate but were not. We are choosing a new first name together but i told him i wouldnt decide about the surname yet.

Bubs is now 4 days overdue..i wish he would hurry up already! I know its stupid but i cant help but think that maybe it will change things..

Oh Hun! I'm so sorry! I think now is the time to kick his but to the curb. Kick him out and tell him he's not going to be at the birth.

I know you had hoped to rekindle the relationship but he's shown time and time again he's not going to change.

Now's the time to show him you won't let him walk all over you and make him leave.
