Default New screen for Galaxy S6

Does anyone have an idea on how much it costs to replace a screen for a galaxy? I dropped my phone by accident and it cracked pretty badly. Whats really disappointing about dropping it was that i have a cover on it to. It only dropped about 5cm(fell out of my dressing gown pocket). Usually i am so so careful.

I have an S4 and they dont actually replace the screen they replace the whole casing. You won't lose anything on your ph the just put the motherboard in the new casing. Mine cost $240

The S6 should be able to fall at least 3m before breaking. The glass is supposed to be gorilla glass and all smash tests I've seen on it no drop less than 3m/15ft broke the glass. I'd expect there to be a flaw in the glass for it to have broken from such a small drop.

I'd take it back to supplier and ask for replacement under warranty.

Will give telstra a call and see what they say. I was trying to pick my cat up but was crouched down so it wasnt very high at all. I thought having a case on it would help protect it but obviously not, esp an expensive case at that.

Yes. Its going to cost me $180 for a new phone or replacement phone pending on what they send me. I am going to wait a few weeks though as we go on holidays and i dont want to damage a new phone. Otherwise i could pay $150 to get the screen replaced but that voids my warranty and insurance on the phone.
