Default Are your kids names "themed"?

Has anyone named their kids according to a theme - eg all names start with the same letter, all names contain a certain letter...etc?

    Just curious!

Nope but it turned out that all three have six letters in their names - I only figured that out when my third was about 8 months old

Not me but I went to school with 5 boys from the same family and their names all started with R. They were ridiculously good looking and all part of their respective years' "popular" groups so didn't do them any harm. But it was one of those "things" people noticed.

I also know a family who's daughters both have flower names which I think is sweet.

No. But 5 of the six have biblical names. The first was named after recently passed away grandmother.

All my brother and my sister have kids ( 6) names ending with 2 sounds. (Ah and son).

    I broke the pattern.

Only that they are really really really really really popular. Common. Try not to fall in love with a name that has been a top 5 name, or still is, a top 5 name.

I love both names, but have name regret, particularly for dd2.

I'm expecting my second and am trying to steer clear of names that make a theme. In saying that though, I want their names to suit each other.

DS is named after my favorite character in my favorite book (its a very common name). I plan on naming baby no 2 (whenever we're lucky to enough to have #2) after another fave character. I have boy & girl names picked. So I guess that's a theme

All of my nieces and nephews have names that start with A. We broke that theme though.

I know a family of 5 boys that all have 4 letters and contain a Y.

Mum is pregnant with #6. Hopefully it's a girl so they find it easier picking a name.

I only have one child so far but I plan on there being a little bit of a theme with my children's names (if we're lucky to have any more). The theme is/will be uncommon old names. Our son's name is an old gaelic name, the other boys name I like is biblical and our two chosen girls names are old English names.
