They have different numbers if vials of sperm for each donor and that dictates if they are available for ICSI transfers or not. It is all spelt out on the info they send you when you select a donor.

Hey @Charlie74 I'm just looking at donors with Nurture.co.za and each donor indicates yes/no to future contact with a child.

Keep looking leyshoja... There's plenty of time before you're at plan E.
There could be one you like 5 more times than her who shows up in two weeks who is proven.

First congratulations to wazbub. I finally have some time to catch up - and great numbers. You will definitely get some 5-day blasts.
Tahli, both my RE here and Dr. Wiswedel said that with donor sperm it is usually so good that ICSI is not required. I asked the same question.
I am impressed with your quick decisioning to move forward. The article below about disclosure around egg donation came in my feed. It was published 10 years ago and so many things still hold true. What astounds me is the number of ED children and the lack of information and regulation here in Canada about it. It ends:
"My friends and family treat the whole thing with a warmth and offhandedness that makes me feel lucky daily, but I'm sure others snicker behind my back at the choices I've made. Telling means I will never be like all the other moms in the most fundamental way. It's true what people say in the chat rooms: You can tell, but you can't untell.

Still, having to go to such lengths to have a child made me think hard about what it means to be a mother. By using a surrogate I've implicitly decided that there is more to parenthood than genetics or gestation. To me, being a mother means one thing above all: endeavoring to put my daughter's needs ahead of my own, even when it's uncomfortable. The most important way I can do that, I've concluded, is to be honest with her about how she came to be and to help her understand that it doesn't mean I love her any less. She didn't get my eyes, but what I'm hoping is that by giving her the truth, I can help her see."

Ok, so I've just paid for my proven egg donor & returned all the forms, emailed Kimenthra my proven sperm donor choice (who isn't ICSI suitable @Canuck1 hopefully it's good enough quality as you mentioned), paid CFC their deposit, returned all their forms to Cyndi & chosen Dr Wiswedel as my FS.
Now I wait until Monday when CFC should receive all my forms & go from there. My egg donor is available immediately so it'll be exciting to how it all rolls on from here. It'll also be very interesting to see if they'll let me do a FET on my 1st go. Phew!!!
Super good luck to the girls already in Cape Town!!
