.. We're definitely giving it at least another go with OE. And I guess depending on wot the results are for a 2nd cycle will then make a decision on whether we do a 3rd or move on. And I have to say it is good to be reminded that the 1st is still a trial of sorts- I'm trying to remind myself of that. I guess a second cycle could answer a lot of our questions
As Emski said LB is very honest and she will let you know what she thinks. I went to her for my last two cycles. I wish I had gone to her a lot earlier. I'm from Tassie and we don't have a lot of choice of IVF here. LB wasn't prepared to do anymore for me as I had done way too much and she recommended SA for me as she wanted to see me pregnant sooner rather than later. For my cycles I always got lots of eggs but they were just crappy.

I went to SA in in June and the first one worked. The clinic is fantastic and is way better than any of the 4 clinics I've been to in Australia. It was initially hard for me to move on to DE hence why I did 27 cycles but I am now really happy that I did.

For me I don't know if I could have moved onto DE after just doing one cycle because normally the first cycle with a clinic is trial and error to see how well you respond. Good luck with what you decide.
I only have one thing to say to that - HOLY FRIG 27 CYCLES !!! And I thought I was determined !!!!!! Jeepers. I'm glad you got there in the end.

I say Holy Frig that doctor should be reported for allowing 27 cycles. I'm definitely using that in my submission.

It is totally unethical. My Ob/Gyn says 3 max then move on. It's just making the clinic money.

    Default Help!!!

I took my last Pill on Monday and am currently awaiting my treatment period. However, I had a prolonged breakthrough bleed episode that only stopped over the weekend. This was a couple of days of spotting and seven days of flow. I don't know how much lining I have left (not much I suspect).

Tomorrow is the day that I start Progynova but is also the day that I am meant to contact the clinic if my period hasn't arrived. Annoyingly it is also a weekend. I have sent an email to clinic today but no response.

Anyone encounter this situation? What did you/should I do?

    Thanks,
    Sunny

Sunnygirl sounds like that is what is supposed happen. Your period on the pill will not be like normal.

They are only just starting work there now (11.30am) so I wouldn't panic and they work Saturdays.

KMP - I too have had many many cycles over the past 10 years and at no point did I ever feel pressured by my FS. We always had lots of eggs, I had the highest fertilization rate in the clinic and each and every cycle that I did was my choice. It was my journey that I took and people shouldn't be judged by that. I would have died if I had to stop after 3 cycles. The first few are about getting the right meds and levels as everyone is so different. I know many people that fell pregnant on average with 4-5 cycles. I didn't even know that overseas ED was an option and I truly thought I was going to get pregnant with my own eggs. Yeah it took 10 years and I'm blessed to be having twins but my FS has been my rock and would never want her "reported" for helping me!

My nurse co-ordinator only works until 2pm on a Friday and not on weekends, hence my concern. I have sent a message to Dr H as well so am hoping to hear from one of them but would like to hear if anyone else has had a similar issue and how it was handled.

I'd call Sunny - as long as you've taken the pill you'll be OK,
