Default Subchorionic hematoma - any other symptoms?

So I think this has been brought up a few times before

I went to dr after bleeding just before my scheduled dating scan, and a medium sch was the cause of bleeding. I was 9 weeks
i haven't had any further spotting the size did not decrease between 10 an 13 weeks.

has anyone had other symptoms other than bleeding with a sch?
ive been having pain and discomfort with braxton hicks since 16 weeks.
went to dr and have been for blood test and urine, but rather then waiting until 20weeks for next scan dr has pushed it forward for me to have it at 18 weeks.

not sure if it's connected, not sure if I'm just stressing.

this is second pregnancy and I swear I had non of these issues or symptoms in my last pregnancy...

I have one. It was found on my dating scan 10 days ago. I haven't had any bleeding or symptoms. Not sure of the size either, the report says "convincing subchorionic haemorrhage".

I'm going back to the gp on Monday with me scan images to have a chat to her about it.

I had two in my pregnancy. One in the first trimester that caused me 3-4 smallish bleeds, and a large one at 20 weeks that resulted in 4 weeks bed rest in hospital followed by another 3 weeks at home until it disappeared.

In all that, the only symptom I had was bleeding. The nurses were always asking if I was having contractions though so if you are then I'd suggest you mention that just in case. They can put you on medication to stop that.

I had one and bled quite heavily at 9 and 13 weeks but had no pain or other symptoms. They could just see this pocket of blood on the scan. Baby was fine.

I've had one in both my pregnancys. My first was a heavy red bleed, and then seen on ultrasound when we checked bub. I am currently 11 weeks with number 2 and at my dating scan we found a pocket of fluid, at 9 weeks we had a bit of brown spotting for maybe 3-4 days and then at a check up scan a few days ago the fluid was gone. This time I was a lot calmer about the spotting than last time, last time I went straight to emergency. This time I just took it very easy. Bub is OK so far scary, but worrying does nothing to help.

I went and saw my gp this morning. She explained that it can be quite common and to carry on as I am. She said if I have any bleeding with cramps to go straight to emergency. If I have spotting without cramps, not stress, but to see her.

I feel much better after speaking with her. I'm an RN, so if anything happens at work, I'll be going straight to emergency or call my midwife.

    Thanks for the responses.
My scan is tomorrow and follow up Dr appointment on Friday.
I'm taking it easy as I've found less time on my feet helps reduce any pain.

I guess the worst thing with sch and the other symptoms I'm having is all just 'wait and see'

My partner gave me advice when we first met that I use almost almost daily as an anxious person. 'Don't worry until you have to.'

    That is good advice ^

Currently going through this at 8w2d. Saw a Healthy heartbeat a few days ago after my concern of Having some bright red spotting day before. Yesterday and Today some dull cramping and period like bright red flow. I've had a SCH with my previous pregnancy and it's likely what's causing this now (dating scan few weeks ago showed a sch).

Off to specialist scan tomorrow. I'm so nervous as the bleeding has been heavier since the last heartbeat seen on Tuesday.. Don't know what's going on. 😁

I'll update from what happened with mine. I've had 2 lots of bleeding this pregnancy and neither time was it as bad as my first pregnancy. I'm 18 weeks today and bub and I are doing fine. Hope all is well for you.
