    Delirium this is me exactly - the morning is a "wake up" 1-2m rinse and evening is 10-15m scrub/soak before tv/bed. It's a blissful routine once kids are off!

    Geez I'm going to be flamed for poor hygiene for sure - we shower every second day, sometimes it goes three days. I try not to wash my hair to much, I'm hideously grey for my age and I try to make the colour last. The kids hate having their hair washed so that's just a struggle. DS and I have dry skin, we have activities every night and I am not fighting the shower battle before school. Clean undies every morning, sometimes wear the same clothes for more than one day, teeth twice a day.

    We're not smelly or gross, we got used to it with the water restrictions, the kids won't shower on their own and well some night it's all to bloody hard.

    Sometimes at night I don't brush and floss my teeth ... I do every morning but not always at night. Terrible I know!!

    I shower daily though - in super hot water. I love a steamy shower - I'd live in there if it wouldn't make my toast soggy in the morning

    I shower at least once a day, i also saw this the other day and thought I would share 😊

    Here are some facts about the 1500s: Most people got married in June, because they took their yearly bath in May and they still smelled pretty good by June.

    However, since they were starting to smell, brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odour. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.

    Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water. The man of the house
    had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the children. Last of all the babies. By then the water was so dirty you could actually lose someone in it. Hence the saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the bath water!"

    Might be a stupid question but when people say they don't wash their hair do you still wet it daily?
    I wash my hair with shampoo & conditioner every 2-3 days but it gets wet in the shower every day.

    No, it doesn't get wet. Only when I wash it (usually once a week). If I go swimming etc and get my hair wet I will have to wash it that day or it will be unmanageable.

    I usually wet it daily in summer. Depends how I'm styling it in winter as to whether I do.

    I have a spray bottle with plain water in it to wet it down a little if I'm just going to put it in a ponytail for eg @ don't want to completely saturate it in the shower😊

    I wear a shower cap
    If I were to wet my hair without washing it it's impossible to comb and looks feral
