I'm going out on a limb here and going to admit my jeans get washed probably 2-3 times per year. if that. I'm only wearing them for a few hours at a time and I'm not s sweaty Betty. over washing jeans tends to shorten their life span. I had a pair of nudie jeans I bought at 25 that only just died on me 10 years later. pays to be a grubby gertie sometimes 😂

actually the person who sold me that particular pair told me they need to be "dry washed" or whatever it was that they meant. they were super navy do I guess it was to preserve the colour.

I'd hate to think how all the posters who shower twice daily would cope in a nursing home or hospital environment.... You are lucky to get one a day. And yes I got taught during training it's very bad for your skin.

who doesnt shower every day? what are your embarrassing confessions
Ask anyone though who has been in hospital and the first shower they are able to have when they can get out of bed is one of the things they love most.
Showering is one of life's pleasures. Some nice smelling soap, the water in your skin, being clean and fresh. It's lovely.

It's been months since I shaved my legs...
But I'm pregnant and shower with a nearly 2 year old so it's hard

A shower will add 25 minutes to my morning and trying to get out with 3 kids before the school bell is tough enough. Something I'm still adjusting to with a new baby this year.
My week days are mostly just school runs and the odd trip to get groceries on the way home.
A shower every second day is enough for me unless there is a change to that usual routine. I have never, ever left the house looking or smelling dirty. I just wouldn't do it.
I can and do, shower daily or twice a day in the summer as my skin would be sticky from suncream and the heat, but in the winter no way.
Each to their own.

On the rare occasion I have a day when I don't get a chance to shower - I feel utterly gross, and that's just lurking around the house.
