It must have been overlooked in DD's pyjamas.. thankfully she's dry lately and toilet training so no nasty business, but those absorbing jelly crystals went though an entire wash, multiplied and stuck to everything! A nightmare! Not to mention the fluff.
Here's what the inside of the machine now looks like..

Never wash a disposable nappy
Oh yes! I recently did this by accident, must have scooped up a nappy in ds clothes after his bath and my god the mess it made! Crazy! I had to scoop all that gross jelly stuff out with my hands and rewash a million times

Done that before and all my clothes were covered in the jelly stuff

I was totally stumped at first and had to go through every thing in the wash and there it was, the broken nappy. It's impossible to clean, had heaps of bedding in the load as well. Just shook anything out furiously in the backyard and it looks like snow. Damn!

been there, done that several times
Mostly when ds1 was day trained but still wore them overnight, one of my worst nightmares, you have to scrape the crap off because rewashing wont work

I have been there too. I think I had to clean my machine by hand in the end. No idea with what I did with all the washing. It was a nightmare though!
