Default Moving to Toowoomba in new year

    Hi mummies,
We are looking at moving to Toowoomba in the new year from Brisbane. We need some advice on good suburbs, schools, etc. We have 3 boys (2 at primary school and 1 in day care). I have been researching both public and private, and suburbs, but advice from mums who actually live there would be wonderful.
Any suggestions or advice would be fantastic. Thanks in advance!

We used to live in Toowoomba... Suburbs to the east (closer to the range) are better. We were in east Toowoomba and loved it - so green and heaps of character. Blots of really good private schools close by but also East Toowoomba state school which has an excellent reputation and I believe you need to be in catchment to get in.
    Good luck with the move!

All public schools are now zoned. I would also stick to East Toowoomba, Rangeville, Middle Ridge or out of town (5 min)Highfields/ Hodgson Vale. The good thing about Toowoomba is it doesnt really take you long to get anywhere
