3 kids + a woman with PTSD trapped in the same house for a week now. We are all still alive...thank god I discovered Netflix and that they have a months free trial.
Oh and Minecraft.

This week was week 3 of School Holidays for us. We have had a family holiday to Caloundra and had a nice time for the most part (the last 2 days have been a bit stressful with the Toddler going into full tantrum mode 😯)
They still have Monday and Tuesday off next week so we are going to go to the theme parks (Movie World/Sea World) While toddler is back at Daycare.....then back to School/Work for us all.
3 1/2 weeks is such a long break! And paying for 2 weeks of Vacation care for 3 kids was painful but we have made the most of the time we have had together on our days off.

Kids had a really busy week last week with their mum, and the weekend with us had it usual business (both sports at same time in diff places- training fri night, game sat morn, then PILs house sun).
Mon and Wed I worked, so H stayed home with them. They spent both days glued to the tv...
Tues was catch up on housework, shopping and kids' practice work- DSS's OT stuff, DSDs flute and OC stuff.
Thurs we were still catching up on their practice work, went to the park, made sushi, swimming lessons.
Today, more housework and laundry, went out for lunch and haircuts, more practice work (have to do an hour each daily), sports training.
Tomorrow we say farewell (until next weekend) after soccer (10am!).

I wish school would hurry up lol
Nah, kids just fight/argue a lot. But it hasn't been too bad.

I know I'll sound like a Pollyanna that you want to punch in the face but it's been so lovely. Yeah they bicker a bit and do the usual kid stuff but it's so nice to be together and soooooo nice to feel like a regular human mum - it's fun!
We're off to a park/cafe for morning tea tomorrow and then catching up with friends in the afternoon and we've got movies and a trip to the city to go to the museum and the ice rink scheduled for next week.
