No training this week. I did a body pump class on Saturday and that will be it till probably next Wednesday. Flew interstate yesterday to spend the next week with family so exercise and diet will be out the window.

Bub has dropped in the last 2 days and hips are hurting a lot more so fingers crossed I can still manage at the gym once I get home, even if I just do the x-trainer and some light weights I'll be happy.

Had a bit of a jog on my walk this morning. I was totally unprepared (unsupportive sports crop bra and walking tights, half asleep 5:30am!), but managed 3 x cautious 500m jogs during my 4k walk. Felt good to be running again. If my RLP stays away I will try increase it next time. Happy if I can just do run/walk though. I did get some strange looks from my elderly neighbours πŸ˜‚

All my hard work pre-baby has paid off!
Lots of extra chub to work off (a good 7-8kg of it) but belly has bounced back quite well.

22 weeks and still jogging 3 times per week. Sometimes only managing 2-3k if hot but still doing a 'long jog' on Sundays- about 9k on average (half of what I was doing pre pregnancy). Feeling good and glad that I am still active! πŸ˜€

Great stuff! Hopefully you can continue to run through the entire pregnancy 😊.

Back to the pool today, had a break over Christmas as the public pool was feral with kids (still swam at home & beach but it's not the same). Been climbing my mountain twice weekly though and still feeling very capable at 32 weeks. Will continue up until bub is born unless anything major happens. Haven't had any more rude comments which is nice!

😊great to hear you are still active! I'll keep on jogging till I physically can't. No rude comments yet here but I think people just assume I have a Christmas food baby rather than pregnant at the moment! It's no ones business anyway, there's no evidence it's a problem to continue exercising whilst pregnant..

Thanks, yeah it only started happening when I was very obviously pregnant. It's just unfortunate but some people think pregnant women are better off sitting on their bum eating chips. lol.

Just swam 1.5km. Still getting niggles of RLP, I think it's here to stay unfortunately. Won't let it stop me, just have to adjust where necessary.

No, I used to use 'map my run' not sure if it's similar. I don't take my phone with me walking or running though, if it's one of those satellite tracked ones?

These days not so concerned about distance or speed. Just getting out there is enough. I am looking forward to getting back to some decent running though once bub arrives. Although don't think you're supposed to use running prams until they're 6 months old? Or something like that. I'll need to look into that I can't remember what the story is.
