Default Maternity Wear - Online and In Store

    Hi Ladies,

I am 7 weeks pregnant and our baby was conceived via IVF. I am not sure if it's all of the drugs but I look about 4 months pregnant. I am going to have to start shopping for maternity wear a lot sooner that I expected (first stop will be bra shopping!! - my breasts are growing at a rate equal to my stomach...LOL). Anyway, I am not sure where to start....I am thinking my style is going to be leggings, plain long sleeve tops with longline cardigans or jackets with ballet flats or ankle boots. No doubt I will get to a point where I will wear anything that fits! Anyone have any suggestions of some good online stores (I am working full time and don't get a lot of shopping time) or even shop fronts (I am located in Melbourne) in case I need to make the effort. If you could include whether they are true to size or not, that would be great. I might try to find some basics in target or kmart or something as I don't want to spend a huge fortune on a maternity wardrobe for such a short period of time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks xx

Asos online have a really good range of maternity clothes. They are fairly cheap, good quality and fast delivery. Also are true to size. Happy shopping!

I got some great basics from Kmart. Some casual pants, basic tops and two tube type dresses - all priced from $9 to $20. All washed well and lasted the pregnancy.

I also invested in a really nice pair of black pants (check out QueenBee Maternity website).

Jeans West also does nice Maternity wear now - for casual looks - the black skinny maternity jeans have lasted me through two pregnancies.

ETA: As mentioned above ASOS is great too!

    Best wishes!

Thank you ladies. I plan on having a look at Jeanswest when I get a day off. Looks like I will be spending my Saturday night (after work!) shopping on Asos!

I wish Kmart had online shopping. I am sure my credit card is glad they don't though!

OMG Jeanswest do maternity wear? I'm heading there today then. I didn't know this.

I bought a couple of staples from Kmart too, I love their maternity leggings.

Jeanswest are online too. They have 40% off all sale items at the moment. Quite a bit of maternity wear.
