You can do non lodgement via the app. Did it today for my husband. You can also generate your own payment summary through app or online. Wouldn't waste my time ringing to be on hold for so long. Ppp is definitely taxable.

If you haven't done a tax return for five years you have to though I'm pretty certain (accountants correct me if wrong). Even if blank!

So you just sign in and non lodge and estimate for next year too? I'm so confused!

Thanks everyone! I just did the non lodgement online. Just basically checked the no box on all of the questions. Done

I'm joining in this thread as my hubby is working and I'm receiving benefits. I'm depending on the accountant to do everything. He said once the taxes are done (I didn't need to do one) then Centrelink will contact me to tell me if I'm overpaid or under.

I think family tax is not taxable so you don't estimate that.

PPP is taxable, FTB isn't. If PPL is your only source of income then you don't need to lodge as you are under the 16k tax free threshold. The SPP is a tax free pension as is disability. So all payments are non lodgable if you aren't working, but for different reasons.

When you go through online services for non-lodgment it asks if it's for under the threshold or taxfree pension. If you are PPP go under the threshold if you are on a pension go tax free.
