I already have the hard bassinet for the elite but its def not appropriate for the versa. Might just use the elite and bassinet for the short term

My DD is only 5 mths and I'll be using it from now on.
I do want an insert for it though, just to cosy it up for her.

Default Help Please. Baby Jogger City Versa Question.

We got the bassinet and didn't regret it. We only used the capsule on the pram for short periods outside the car (eg run into shop if baby was still asleep). As a pp said, they can sleep flat (lower SIDS risk) and be swaddled whilst in the bassinet. But you could do all that with your other pram/bassinet? Our baby outgrew the bassinet at 4-5 months, but we used it so much that it didn't feel like a waste if money. It might be different if you aren't going out using the pram every day though.

Having the front and rear facing options on the Versa was a big bonus. Our baby preferred rear facing where he could see us for a long time, probably close to a year. I hope the replacement model has that option.

Keep an eye on gumtree. Not long after I bought mine, several came up for sale, all in good condition. I'm in wa too. When is baby due?

Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy If I hear of a bassinet that needs a new home, I'll post in here.
