Hi Mums and Dads ,
The Early Learning Project at the University of New South Wales is currently looking for parents with children who are turning 5-years old within the next 2 months, or have recently turned 5-years old and are interested in participating in research about the social impact of gratitude in children. The study will be conducted at the University of New South Wales (Randwick, Sydney).
We are interested in whether children who express gratitude to someone who has given them a gift (e.g. by thanking them), are more likely to show relationships strengthening behaviours. We also want to see whether children who express thanks are more satisfied with the things they are given.
For 40 minutes of your time, we will reimburse you with a $20 Coles Group-Myer Gift Card. We will also pay for your parking if you wished to drive here. Your child will receive a little thank you gift at the end of the session.
If you are interested and would like more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact details and child's date of birth, or call Erica on 0406 961 186.
More information about our lab and what we do can be found in the link below:
This project (*2417*) has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Advisory Panel for the School of Psychology, UNSW. There are no foreseeable harm or risks in participating.
