    Default Evap lines?

I have gotten some very faint positives for about 3 days on IC but FRER negtive. The lines seem to dry lighter and there is not much progression. I have done a control with water and there was no line. Did start light bleeding on friday. Do you think they are all evaps given FRER still definite bfn? 2015-06-30 09.11.51(2).jpg

I would not trust ic at all! I have gotten so many double lines that show up straight away and that are clear as day but when testing with frer with same urine and bfn!!!

ICs pick up a lower HCG, FR start a tad higher so generally speaking an IC will pick it up earlier or may detect a chemical pregnancy where the HCG doesn't reach high enough for a FR to pick up. If you're going to use IC I rec the ones from lullaby conceptions

I didn't get a positive on an IC even after I had a super dark line on a frer and positive blood results.

I think they're a waste of money, even if they're cheap. FRER or nothing!

I guess everyone has different experiences, I never had any issues with the ones from LC. I do love FR too but they can be $ if you want to test early.
@Tashiee what DPO did you start testing?

I think 11dpo but didn't see a obvious line until 13dpo when bleeding started. I am now 16dpo so I wonder if the tests should be much much darker. I thought the one was night was better but still not dark and seems to dry lighter. I am thinking they are probably evaps since they aren't really dark yet, but thought maybe someone has been in the same boat before and ended up pregnant. Thanks for everyone who has posted so far, really appreciate it!

ICs in my experience dry lighter so that alone wouldn't hold any weight. If you have done these that late in your cycle than I would expect them to get darker very quickly, HCG doubles ~ every 48 hours. I'd say they are evaps or you have caught a chemical pregnancy, evaps don't generally have colour on the test line but I can't tell the colour from my computer.

I would say evap - I agree with rainbow road. I think old Internet cheapies used to be good but I've never had any luck. People often say they are supposed to pic up levels lower than first response but I've never seen that in the past 2yrs or experienced it myself. I think they are a waste.

I'm voting for Evap line too. If it was a true BFP, your lines would be getting darker by now, even if by just a smidgen.

Also agree about the IC's vs FRER. I don't believe they pick up levels lower than a FRER and I've never seen one of my BH buddies or other Girls testing on the various threads over on the IVF thread (and believe me, we're all pretty much POAS addicts doing a shiz load of testing) get a BFP on an IC before a FRER.
