I am a bit of a johnny come lately to this thread but I just have to say that Kmart got me out of such a last minute shopping pickle on the 2 days before Christmas. I popped in there and walked out with decorative lights for 4 teenagers (a star, a red arrow and an ampersand, and a lightbox with letters), then I stumbled on a galvanised metal drinks tray that I gave to a secret Santa for a female with some mugs, then I found some shopkins and water balloons for dd, then I found an ice bucket/drinks tub that I put some beers with for a secret Santa from/to a male. And a pair of black shorts and a shirt that I wrote for Christmas dinner last night (that was technically from dh so I had something to open on the day, since he had already given me a present a couple of weeks ago - new stereo for the car). It was amazing.

My mum bought me all of these things for Christmas 😃 Also a big outdoor umbrella, I've just got to go and grab some heavy sandbags to weigh it down before setting it up and will post a pic later. I'm really excited about the brolly, I have zero coverage in my little backyard and in summer it's a killer.

My one is already in a stand, just needed weights to keep the whole thing from blowing over. DH is putting up right now 😃

It's up. It's bigger than it looks! Now DD can play under the shade. I'll put her pool under it on hot days, too. I live in a unit so not a very big yard, but enough for a little bit of outdoor fun 😃 So happy with it!
