I'm going well thanks. I'm 20+6 weeks. Baby is a strong healthy little boy that we've decided to name Chase William Barter. It's all becoming very real now

Hi ladies, can I join in? I have read back to read up on all your stories. Hope everyone gets their babies soon. I have my first ttc consultation tomorrow and I'm really nervous. What can I expect?

Hi I'm still here although I haven't been around for ages. After no response on 50mg I was upped to 100mg within the same cycle, which produced a nice 21mm follicle. progesterone blood test indicated that i'd definitely ovulated. Hoping we BDd in time! I'm currently in the TWW and am due for a PG test on Friday. It's only my first cycle on Clomid so I'm not really expecting a BFP,so I won't be too disappointed if its not.

Welcome! When you say first TTC consultation, do you mean first with your GP or with an FS? No need to be nervous!
My GP ran a whole load of tests including ultrasound and diagnosed me with PCOS, then referred me to an FS. My first appointment with the FS was just taking relevant medical history from both of us, arranging blood tests for both of us, an AMH test for me and a SA for him. As I'd already had a lot of blood etc results those ones didn't need to be repeated. A few weeks later we went back for the test results and then started on Provera to induce a period, then Clomid followed by monitoring (regular blood tests and ultrasounds) at appropriate times. The testing was done in the morning before work, then they'd call me mid afternoon with the results and any instructions to BD or have follow up appointments. A lot of the cost of the FS appointments and SA was claimable on medicare, the blood tests were bulk billed.

does that help? Report back tomorrow with how you got on!

Already been to the GP. I was diagnosed a few years ago. We had a referral sent to a public gynae last month and that's who I'm seeing tomorrow.
