Hi Gen72, Did you go through an agency for donors that travel? If so, what are they called?

Hi @CherryCP I heard about them through my FS as he is the one doing it through QFG. Currently they are doing it for the first time in Feb and I'm doing my cycle in March/April. They are called Known Egg Donors, I think they may also be affiliated with Traveling Donors, but are using a different name as they have to be known for Australia.

Here is the link and if you would like the info that they have sent to me PM your email address and I can send it to you if the link doesn't give you enough info.

For the Embryoland girls, can you confirm that we start taking the Progynova the month / cycle that we go over to Greece for DE? I got an email last night and it was a bit confusing. My common sense is saying that it isnt time to start building up my lining yet as I still have one more AF before I go.

Also do they do acupuncture at Embryoland? I know that they do at Serum but wanted to check as I have acupuncture here and in the past have done it pre and post transfer so would like to do that again if available. I forgot to ask DR K when we spoke on Sunday.

    Thanks everyone.
@kategc good luck for your flight Sunday and upcoming FET.

    Hi Ladies

Hope you are all doing well.

Glad to hear about the recent success stories and births and all the new gals who have joined in!

I've been reading along when I can but have been busy with some family issues (elderly Mom, etc).

Kate: I wanted to take a minute to pop in and wish you a safe and successful trip to Greece for your FET!! I'm thinking of you and hoping you bring back some great news! Looking forward to hearing about your experience.....

To anyone else travelling soon, all the best to you too. To those like myself hoping to go (again) in a few months, stay positive and believe me that the time will pass more quickly than you can imagine.

    Hugs to all...

Hey guys do what your told exactly sometimes it is so you match up with the donnor cycle. Do not double think it. Dr Kanakas will stop same day as the donor so your in sync.
    Enjoy the adventure.

    Default planning

Hi ladies! Just wondering how many days in total you and DH needed as a minimum to complete one attempt (fresh donor egg cycle) in Greece? ie. the total number of days from your departure from Aus, to returning back on the plane. Just trying to work out the number of days leave from work I'll need.

    Hi CherryCP
If it helps, here's the timescale of our trip to Greece...
Arrived 25th Oct, met with Dr K on 26th to get an idea of what would happen and when. Donor's egg collection and my partner's sperm sample were done on the 28th. (Wait 5 days for the blacosycysts to grow! - we went to Hydra for a day so you have time to explore some islands if you wish at this time.) Then embryo transfer on 2nd Nov. So we needed to be available/easy access to the clinic for 9 days. We then flew off to Crete for a week the afternoon of the embryo transfer. Everyone's schedule will be slightly different though depending on when the donor is ready for egg collection so we wanted to allow 2 weeks just to be on the safe side. Good luck!
I had my 12 wk scan last Fri and it was amazing! You will love Greece, lovely place and people

Hi CherryCP- for the fresh cycle I did in 2014 (that resulted in my baby boy) I could only do a short trip, I was there for 8 nights. We had DH boys frozen over there (he went over for a weekend) and Penny timed the donor (who knows well and has done previous cycles so she knew how she'd respond to the meds) so that I would get an ET at some point in my time there. I had an ET on about day 4 - so I flew home earlier than planned.
