Try AirBnB. President hotel is close but you'll pay up to 90 euros a night. You can easily negotiate an apartment on AirBnB for 30 euros a night. Big difference.

@Ozrainey your details have been updated @AnnaMM I went through AirBnB and we got accommodation in Arkadias street (literally 100m) from Embryoland for $1100 AUD for 17 nights. We thought we would just base ourselves there and take what we need when going away - not having to lug everything. Its an apartment so has all cooking facilities and we are not forced to eat out every meal.
They had some great apartments in the area. So excited. We'll be chatting to Dr Nikos on Sunday night for an update.

Hi Yasna, I am supposed to be going to Genesis in May but am now having second thoughts. Can you please tell me how you paid at Embryoland? Whether your procedures were on time? How comfortable was your tansfer etc.
    Thank you so much

@ChinaDoll4 - I went to Genesis. It has a good reputation in Greece, and I do know of one or two Australian success stories but my experience there was pretty awful (I did get pregnant but miscarried at about 7 weeks). No doubt Yasna will get back to you about how she paid, from memory I think there were some options including credit card, but I'll leave that to her to explain as I didn't got to Embryoland myself.

By way of comparison, Genesis will direct you to a room labelled 'Library'. There is a staff member there with a cash counting machine and your payment is made entirely in cash. I do know of one couple who managed to do theirs by Amex travellers cheques. Genesis will give you a discount of about 200 euros if you agree to accept a receipt saying you paid about half what you've actually paid. There was a lot of waiting at Genesis. We waited about 5 hours for our first appointment. Also Genesis usually requires you to be there close to Athens around three weeks, the clinics that really cater for the international market (e.g. Serum, Embryoland, Iakentro) can facilitate much shorter visits.

It's worth doing some research and being really comfortable with where you go. Good luck!
