    Hi,
wanted to share our news. Our beautiful boy was born on 22-12, at 33 weeks. We nearly lost him, but he is starting his slow recovery. We couldn't be happier that he is with us after 10 long hard years. Don't give up on your dreams ladies, don't give up hope. Follow your heart because when you hold your baby all of the pain of trying just disappears. Much love to all ladies making their way over- it will be worth it.

Chillout - ask Penny re the steroids, I suspect she'll answer even though she's on holidays. I would be inclined to keep the dose the same, your body is accustomed to the current dose so I wouldn't upset the equilibrium unless absolutely necessary. Damn that 2WW messes with your head hey!!

Hi Vixjc - Sofia the gynae responded saying it was prob just a cold and to drink lots of water... Penny is overseas. Yes it does mess with your head! - I have heard it can be a sign of an immune response attacking the embryos?! Damn Google...

something i have studied in myself and reading, both, over the years. when there is an embryo, even a young one, the woman's immune system is turned "down" in general so that the embryo will NOT be recognized as "foreign body" to "attack". so it is likely to catch cold if one is around and it is only good that your immune system has lessened itself. i also learned to not take meds or herbs for that, the embryo can be too delicate. but DO drink lots of water and lemon. keep head and throat warm, covered and can take high doses of vitamin C - like 1,000 mg 2-3x /day even.

Thx, how lovely they have the same birthday. I do feel like from that first post that you responded to, to now has actually gone quite fast. There were so many angels who lead us to our boy and I count you as one of them. Thankyou you helped make this feel real and doable. It gave me the courage to just do it. So Thankyou Vixjc, may the new year bring you and your family lots of happiness.

Congratulations ! I know what it feels like to wait 10 years for a baby!
I hope he is ok and you are strong and positive. It's a turbulent journey pregnancy, birth, motherhood, but the destination is a beautiful one.

My kindest regards to you and your family.
