    Ho ho ho!!
Here i am, tired and overwhelmed!
Can't type much I'm on my phone breastfeeding my new boy at 1am, he was born by c section just over 2 weeks ago!!

So much to say, he had jaundice which kept us in and out of hospital, making me stress and worry. Tomorrow morning we see the pediatrician for the final time to check and see if he's OK... I'm so tired, it's been hard getting into a routine but slowly learning about motherhood. Hoping that we get the final all clear and can relax and enjoy Xmas with family. Talk soon....

Yasna: Sorry to hear about the baby's jaundice. Hopefully you'll get the all clear tmro and can move on from that. So happy that you have your little boy in your arms, finally. I'm sure he will be fine and everything will work out. You will get the hang of motherhood and be a great Mom or Mum as you guys say, I think!! Congratulations! BTW, how did you do with the C section? I'm sure that seems like it was long ago, now that your mind is focused on the little one!

Chillout: Glad to hear your quick trip was a safe one. All the best to you and good luck for a positive test! My fingers are crossed for you!

I just want to wish you all a lovely Christmas and Happy Holiday season in general whatever holidays you may celebrate. Its been nice getting to know you all this year and I think there will be many more BFPs to come in 2016!!!

    Enjoy the holidays, girls!

Oh Yasna thanks for getting in touch with us! Sounds like you have had a very tough and scary start to motherhood which is even harder after all the stress in getting to this stage... But also hoping your little boy has toughed it out and will soon be given the all clear!! I hope you can then get to enjoy it properly xx

Jaydee I got acupuncture through my clinic (serum), not sure if you are going there or embryoland? Worth asking the clinic as some of the anaesthetists do it. It was slightly different to what I get here but very relaxing and therefore beneficial in that way, anyway!! Got it just before and just after transfer for 100e total. Half an hour beforehand and an hour afterwards (think it was meant to be half an hour but wasn't complaining!)

Wow congrats Yasna Im sure you will be ok. It is christmas after all. Just when you think you have conquered the routine bub has a growth spurt and needs extra feeds. There is no book that pin points all that you go through. Just know your doing your best with all that you have.
Merry christmas all and look forward to the updates in 2016.

Update from me...unfortunately it was a negative for us this cycle I was prepared for the worst but my DP was still pretty positive so he has (as always) taken it a little harder. We were hoping for a Christmas miracle...now just back to the drawing board and we'll give the DE some thought as to whether to go O/S or use the traveling donor.

Thanks for your thoughts, and your support...have a great Christmas.

PS. Big congrats Yasna! It will all be a distant memory soon and you'll be in your routine. Enjoy your first Christmas as a Mum!

    Greetings Girls

Went to see pediatrician on Thursday and was given the all clear !! No more jaundice and a great way to celebrate Xmas with my new baby, with positive energy !! I was so worried and stressed, thinking that we would have to do another stay in hospital, but the Dr said his colour was good and that he wasn't anemic or any other problems associated with jaundice. So I'm one happy mama!!!

He's slowly getting into a routine and is breastfeeding well. He lets me sleep around 4-6 hours between feeds at night, which is a godsend since I'm ever so tired throughout the day without that little rest..so yeah!! Here's to the New Year and hoping that all you wonderful women going to Greece will have the same good fortune that I did, well, without jaundice..but I even rang Dr Kanakas and he said it was common and in his delightful accent again said "Don't worry"...

Merry Christmas everyone and I hope you have a prosperous 2016 New year! I've bought my little man a baby tuxedo onesie which he will wear New Years eve..hahah..let the dress ups begin...Today he's wearing a little Santa suit and looks ever so cute...I'll be checking up on you girls, but wont be posting as often, since I am ever so exhausted just being a milk machine and mother..I wish all your baby dreams come true and look forward to reading some positive news in 2016 !!!

Hello ladies my transfer was 21/12 and I woke up this morning with a sore throat. Has anyone experienced this, is it worth increasing prednisolone from my normal 5mg dose?

When I had my transfer I was so sick, coughing and spluttering since I didn't bring warm enough clothes to Greece, so I caught a cold...I thought I'd cough my baby out !! Apparently its good to get sick, since the body fights off the cold, not the embryo...don't increase prednisone without consulting your DR! its a steroid!! Have some honey, lemon, garlic etc oh and gargle some salt water.....I wake up with a sore throat sometimes when I snore a lot hahah... Good luck !!!
