@Kitkats agree it is worth it depending on your circumstances of course.. Two specialists here recommended it to me to improve my chance of success and I became pregnant on the next transfer (but later miscarried). Also very quick recovery so you should feel OK physically by the following day.

    Default Embryoland

    Hi everyone

I've been a little quiet on here for awhile, after 2 failed egg donor transfers here in Australia last year, I had my Skype appointment last night with Dr Nikos and we will be heading over in May for our belated honeymoon. We are getting married in 8 weeks so hopefully it will be a babymoon too.

Congratulations to those ladies who are pregnant and sticky baby dust to those who are in the 2 ww

    Sharon xx

Hey I bought meds in Greece. Enough for three months. They were about $200 Aus. They were really good. Just declared in carry on on way back as ivf meds.

    Many thanks x
Def get your meds over there - super cheap, no prescription needed and I had no problems bringing 4 months worth home!
I did write up the costs when I was there but this forum moves FAST! from memory it was around $7 a box for the Ugestron (?) and I think I spent $54 for the first time getting them then had a small panic and the day before we flew out so I went back and got another 7 boxes - lol! I just packed them in my suitcase (ex the ones I needed during travelling) and had no issues.

I did get the progynova version over there but its not worth it - its a mixed packet and cheaper overall just to get it here.

Dr K wrote what I needed on a piece of paper and I just went across the road to the pharmacy and picked them up no problems, the second time I just went to the same pharmacy (across from the hotel) and asked. - crazy how easy it is over there.

    Good luck

WOW! @kcraig how fast has that gone - 19.3 weeks already! How are you feeling?
I'm 22 weeks on Wednesday with 16 to go and I still can't quite get my head around the fact that it worked first time and TWINS! its crazy!

Feels like only last week we were in Dr K office racing out the door in that crazy rain to get to the airport - so many Aussies in the waiting room that day!
