Well done @Tahli! My donor triggered at 7pm, yep that's going to be an early EPU!
Can't sleep tonight, I have a stinking cold and one of my close mates is moving away. I don't have any family here so it feels especially sad. Ah well, such is life.

@Bongley Hope you're feeling better this morning Luv😊

That is an early EPU!! Yippee!! Only one more day to go😊

Always sad when a close mate has to move away😦 I don't have many close friends locally anymore for the same reason as 2 of mine are either interstate or overseas.

Prob why I'm on BH so much!!!😁

    Default Starting IVF Mar/Apr 2014 - aged 43, single #4

Funny my three best girlfriends in the world, including my número uno live in London, NZ and the blue mountains (although she lived the previous 10 years in France and Sweden). I have close girlfriends here in melb too but it's not quite the same as the ones who know you inside and out and love you regardless and are truly interested in you. @Bongley @Blonde

My número uno is about to have her first baby in London (natural conception at age 41) and I'm trying to decide if I want to surprise her and fly over to be there for it (she's due in sept) or spend that money on more futile fertility treatment!

AF arrived today, fresh start, yay.

@Kelly70 Boo, frucking Hiss for AF and Lurgy!!!! Talk about double whammy!!!

I'm so sorry it was a bust this Cycle Luv As you say, new start with IUI/DB this time??

Totally agree with r.e friend thing. The few friends I do have now I'm not as close with due to mainly the demands of life and their families etc. One is a friend I've had on and off since I was 14yrs old, but again, we're not as close as we were due to losing touch for many years and despite being back in each others life, we don't see much of each other as she's a crazy busy single Mum who's working and studying as well, so not a lot of downtime for her.

I remember you telling me about your close friend's BFP when it happened. Maybe if you start planning the trip in your head and on paper "Murphy's Law" will kick in and you'll get up the duff this month so you can't go!!!!

Anyhoo..hope you're feeling better soon Luvxoxo

Ta BlondeinBrisvegas! I feels really weird not jabbing today. Thanks so much again for your support lastnight. I must say I'm absolutely shattered today. I'm not sure it's from the 'late' night or a side effect of the Pregnyl. If I get as far as the Pregnyl boosters then I'm going to wear my gardening gloves to snap open the glass ampules!!
@Bongley it must be such a strange feeling experiencing things from slightly afar. Your egg retrieval number are going to be phenomenal tomorrow morning!! I wonder how much sleep you'll get tonight?!!
@Kelly70 I'm so sorry it wasn't better news today but you sound really excited to get cracking with your 3 way!! Your best friend in London comment really struck a chord with me. I gave birth to DS in London without any of my own family or Aussie, thus long-term, friends around. I would have given my left arm to have a genuine old friend with me. One that can see you at your worst & instead of asking what you need, just pre-empt your needs, or hold you while you fall to pieces due to the challenges of those early 12 wks. What part of London is she in?
PS: what pain relief did you take after EPU?

@Tahli Panadeine Forte or something like that with a bit of codeine in it if the pain's really bad. I think some of the clinics are a bit anti-NSAIDS like Nurofen, but I've used that before as well with no problem.

Hot water bottle/wheatpack also helps ease the discomfort in conjunction with the drugs

Brilliant thanks @BlondeinBrisvegas. I'm super happy to knock the pain on the head with some codeine in the mix but I still need to be with it enough by 4pm as I have to taxi to collect DS from childcare. I've just popped a heat pack in my bag too, ta.

@Tahli ask them for a stick on heat pad in recovery. It's honestly not too bad - the only time I really felt uncomfortable was when I had 7 follies. The one thing I had first time was I woke up quite emotional so be prepared for that. Was all good future times but the first time it was a big stress moment and I ended up crying - not normally my MO but I think it was just a massive relief it was finally done and it all came pouring out.
