Okay so just went to the loo and wiped blood. Day 19 again. My cycles are officially screwed, that's 2 months in a row. Not even the vitex is helping. This is really unusual for me.

I stopped taking dhea about a month ago, could it be that? Is it the acupuncture throwing me off? Or am I just starting early menopause? I seem to have zero luteal phase.

@Kelly70 WTF??😕 Could it be a Leutal Phase Deficiency in regards to P4??

The only way to know is to have a BT Luv. Don't think the DHEA woul affect your Cycles like that??
No idea about the Vitex as I've never used it.

Yes it's pretty weird the exact same behaviour 2 cycles in a row. I don't know.. I've been under a lot of stress with my brother's illness and I think stress can be a killer for regularity of cycles. Might be time to review my supplements - (I think b6 is usually good for luteal phase frak ups isn't it) and hit the yoga mat, meditation and massage.

Hi Kelly still no AF here, flushes easing slightly. Yes I was on 1 x 1000mg vitex on empty stomach first thing and evening primrose 1000mg twice daily when I conceived, my cycles had regulated fairly well, well at least I was having a cycle and hot flushes and night sweats had completely stopped. Prior to starting cycles were all over the place and I was either spotting all the time or not having a period for 2 months.

Is this the longest time you have not been on an IVF cycle regime ??? This could be your body trying to organise it's own hormone levels without drugs onboard??

@missybear - thanks for reminding me that the vitex needs to be taken on an empty stomach, I've been taking mine mostly in the morning, but with food and sometimes at night if I race out the door in the morning and forget. It does need to be taken first thing like that to maintain those progesterone levels. I'm on a low dose version too, the primula, which is naturopath recommended and 180grms. Has worked a treat for me before but now I'm wondering if I should increase to a stronger dose.

I could have used progesterone suppositories this cycle, still have heaps left but I kind of wanted my body to do it on it's own.. Maybe I should use them next cycle.

Going to start a b complex too. May as well throw in evening primrose, can't hurt.

Spotting has stopped actually.. Will probably pick up again today being up and about. Was mostly when I wiped but was def quite a lot of it.

@Kelly70 I wonder if you'd considered getting some advice from a FS you trust about whether there is anything you should include/exclude in your protocol now that you are TTC naturally?

I just wonder because if you and the dude were a couple trying to conceive you probably would be seeing a FS who might have you on something milder than IVF stimulation to help things along... You also might get some blood tests to work out what is happening with the break thru bleeding...

    Just a thought
