    Default Morning sickness

    Any tips on how to get thru the nausea????.....I wasnt sick my last pregnancy so this time round is a,bit of a challenge

    Big hugs! It is a terrible feeling. There are so many different remedies, you just got to try everything to find what works.

    What worked for me:
    - eat small amount constantly, literally every minute, and eat anything that takes your fancy but not large amounts
    - I had to start repeating affirmations on morning sickness, there is a lot online you can google or just make one up yourself, this was the biggest thing for me. I was quite anxious the beginning of this pregnancy and had to change my mindset before my nausea subsided.

    Now I'm just hungry but not nauseous and I just make sure I have snacks available.

    Other tips I tried:
    - Vitamin B6 supplements
    - ginger anything (tea, ale etc)
    - dry biscuits
    - acupuncture

    Always stay hydrated. Drink litres of Gatorade. Only thing that I found worked.

    If I did get dehydrated from vomiting, I'd be stuck in this dehydration / vomiting cycle that only a trip to emergency for iv fluids would fix. Then, so long as I stayed hydrated with all the Gatorade, I'd stay out of hospital for days.

    Thanks Busy Bee. So hard when ur sick n at work haha.... I hav been eating heaps but jus cos I'm starving all the time

    There was a few days where I was just so over eating! Not something I'd ever said in my life LOL. But if it helps just keep doing it and hopefully will ease soon.
