    This dude made a call on what was essentially a medical issue ... Based on research from google. That's appalling. He should have deferred to an expert witness with medical training. Google - seriously? wtf.
    Someone submitted to the court he googled it, that does not mean that's what he actually did. Any party in a court case can submit whatever they want.

    Before jumping on that sentence i would want to actually see a judgement with his reasons stating that Google was his source, or the appealing courts judgment stating that.

    And part of his job is to base judgment on the evidence, the onus is also on the party to prove her point. Mum could have put forward evidence supporting tattooing was safe, so anyone of the people mentioned in a pp could have been put on as a witness
