    Default Pregnant after tubes tied

    Hi ladies,

Just wondering if there is anyone out there pregnant after a tubal ligation? I had my tubes tied after my last (3rd) baby in May last year but have had three faintly positive pregnancy tests in the last 2 days. I'm yet to see my GP. This would be baby #4 and will make 4 under 5!

    Any other stories?

Oh wow scary by exciting for you. Be sure to go into the Gp to organise a scan asap. I believe the risk of tubal pregnancies if you do get pregnant with after a TL can be high so you would just want to make sure that's all ok first.

Thanks! Yes, very scary and very confused at the moment. I just can't believe that it's possible!! I'm not sure how my husband will feel when I figure out how to tell him! We have 3 little girls, 5, nearly 4 and 13 months. Miss 13 months was a big surprise too conceived whilst on the pill, so it would appear that contraception is no barrier to our determined children. I'll book in with my gp tomorrow to confirm things, I was a bit too shell shocked today! ; -)

That being said - best of luck with your family and your pregnancy!
I think it's higher if during c section I could be wrong but I'm sure my OB told me (sorry to derail).

I hope your app went well and let us know how it goes!
