Thanks everyone. I have called the local chemist and by good luck they are getting special formula in tomorrow for diarrhoea so will try that first and see if it settles. Tried to put to bed with no bottle, didn't go down well so gave 60ml and managed to get him to sleep.
He had a small amount of zymil lactose free milk this afternoon but it went straight through so will check out almond/rice milk etc as well.

DS2 had adenovirus a few weeks ago. He had diarrhea for 2.5 weeks straight, up to 6-8 poos a day, some were green and frothy, others just like liquid water. He was 8mo at the time. It was horrendous but apparently common.
Does your LO have a stuffy nose? Other then that and a bit of vomiting 2 weeks into it, DS2 had no other symptoms.
