@Leisylou Have a good trip to Bali tomorrow Luv
Am sending a prayer to the Universe for calm conditions for you!! If worst comes to worst, take 2 valium and grab a "stiff scotch" as Wazza would prescribe either before boarding or on the flight!!!
@Luckyme1 I agree with @Leisylou Luv, it's far too early for symptoms You're only 9dpo aren't you??
You can still get AF on Crinone. Some women do and some don't. Crinone never stopped me getting AF and I was on 2xday on my first 3 Cycles. a BFP is what stops AF!!! Hope you feel better soon too Luv, bloody Lurgy!!
@emski72 Oh fruck that for a joke Luv!! You'd definitely be shizzing bricks you were going to get eaten!!!
Hello to all the other Lovelies too.....
AFM : Well, we made it home alive!!! Jesus Christ, it was bloody cyclonic out there today I tell you, not to mention frigging freezing!!! We rugged up well, so all good
Besides the putrid wind, it was a lovely clear blue sky sunny day We had a great time and the BBQ went off without a hitch (amen to Gas!!)

Hey BiB how many mgs of Valium did Wazza have you on? I'm thinking of asking for some for my upcoming trip ...will also help with the flight and when my back goes...I had the same pack of diazepam for 3 years so I don't know through them
12-07-2015 17:39 #594
@emski72 It was either 5 or 10mg's prior to ET and the same that night after though he did prescribe it for my RLP when I was preggo
Yep after 3 yrs they probably wouldn't be as effective as they were. Will find out for sure one way or another and get back to you

Hi ladies, sorry it's been a crazy weekend for me, had my intralipids session yesterday, won't ever get that 9hrs of laying on a hospital bed back , the only good thing was I was able to room with a lady from my immune support group and got a visit from another coup,e of ladies, it was so nice to meet them face-to-face.
I had my catch up with a couple of girlfriends today, a nice btle of champers and some red and I'm now in the bath ready to go to bed! It was so nice of them to come and want to send me off in good spirits and to know that they are there for me, it really did mean so much. They both haven't had to go down the ivf route, but both have had their own difficulties conceiving and understand just being there is all I need.
Wow @leyshoja that is a great haul, and from my research on sa de not the norm, well done! I def won't have got in the cage, I am such a wuss!
@Luckyme1 I am so sorry you are feeling low, way too early to,be feeling things yet so give it a chance. I always got AF on crinone, the only thing that stopped it for me was pregnyl.
@Skyler I hope you are recovering well. We are all thinking of you xxxx
To the ladies jabbing in the car, yep done that, in restaurant toilets, theatre toilets and rsl car parks! The things we do huh! I tested out my ice pack and thermometer yesterday and one pack was still at 2.7c after 9hrs and I'd had to put some food in there as well which would have raised the temp, so I'm comfortable that two ice packs will probably last the whole trip with one of those emergency snap freeze ones as back up.
5 sleeps to go, this shiz is getting real now. DH and I spent most of last night in hospital working out all the things we are going to do while away, we had to cut back on some of the touristy stuff coz I said we need some time to chill on the beach too! I think we'll end up with a nice mix of relax and tourist with a cpl of med appts the on in. Oh and it's going to be about 30-36 with mild humidity, oh it'll be tough😛 I have started laying out clothes for packing and the only thing I need to cut back on is shoes, I just love my heels, but need to be realistic, it doesn't matter that DH is 6.2 and I'm 5.4, my heels aren't going to make that much of a difference, except they make me feel skinny😝

@Chiefsgirl 5 days to go Luv!!! Yippee!!!
9 hours having the intrallipids done?? At least you and DH had plenty of time to sort your itinerary out!! I'd say you would've been pretty well rested after the session as well!! That's great you got to meet up with the other Ladies there too
Your catch up with your g/friends sounded wonderful Luv!! What's not to like about champers, red wine and lots of love and support from some of those closest to you?? A bath to round it all out sounds like bliss to me!!
30-36 degrees and humid!! I don't do well with the heat and humidity myself (you think I'd be used to it by now living up here, but no), but I'm guessing you like it?? Great weather for a few cocktails/mocktails!!!
Good to know the icepacks are going to hold up and do the job for you. One less thing to worry about. I'm 5.4 as well and undertand about the heels thing, though I don't wear them that often My DP isn't as tall as yours (only 5.10/11) though.
Well Luv, I'm sending prayers to the Universe for you too as well as that you'll be coming home with a permanent piece of paradise to love and cherish forever!!!

Only mild humidity @BlondeinBrisvegas! So only about 20% which is nothing, and only about what I can handle😜I'm from no and can't handle humidity, every time I visit my family in qld I die!
Yes, my immune specialist does it very slowly! A cpl of hrs of saline, followed by about 4.5hrs of intralipids, followed by another half hr or so of saline, mixed with all the set up stuff and we are there for hours! I arrive at 2pm and left at around 1045/11pm!

Leisey I find listening to spa/massage music on flights helps to calm me when I get anxious - I also visualise being in my 'happy place' ...maybe you can try that with Valium & a scotch?
