Toasted beetroot and cheese sandwiches. Before I got pregnant they were my comfort food. Now i can't seem to stomach the sweetness of the beetroot!

I have to try all of these!

I should have mentioned my love of chicken schnitzel, avocado, lettuce and pineapple toasted sandwiches. It doesn't seem strange to me but dh is adamant that it is.

Yes! Banana sandwiches are a total childhood flashback. Banana honey and peanut butter on white bread is pretty good too.

I love beetroot sandwiches - but you have to have butter and Mayo.

Yes DH loves banana sandwiches but with either sugar or honey.

I love vegemite on dry weetbix. Might have to try it with cheese now though 😊

The other day I had a toasted sandwich with sliced leftover roast potatoes, leftover roast beef, tomato sauce and cheese. I was in flavour country.

Another winner - crushed Doritos with cream cheese.
