I didn't have any symptoms either, so hopefully that's a good sign for you 😊

I'm not 100% how these things work, but I assume cutting back is a good thing because that means you are responding well.

It'll be egg collection day before you know it. Exciting!

    8.5mm lining. Good to go.
Transfer will be Thursday (before Easter). This is the one....fingers crossed.
Now I feel like I am standing in line with my ticket for the roller coaster. Boarding soon!

Hi everyone I had my egg pick up 4 days ago under a local and it was totally fine, all that stress for nothing! My partner had a general for sperm retrieval (they found sperm!!!) and he was also fine and didn't complain of pain much at all. We had 24 eggs in total (I have PCOS too and got mild OHSS). 20 fertilised but a few didn't make it and now we are down to 16 which I am SO relieved about! My FS has recommended we do a freeze all because of my OHSS. I'm happy to do what she recommends and I have already waited forever so what's a few more weeks?! Plus we can also get the embryos tested for CF carrier status. How's everyone else going?

Congrats on a fantastic haul! Good fertilisation for sperm retrieved via biopsy too!
Ask/demand for all the embryos to have pgd testing before they freeze (day 5 most clinics). It costs (about $3000 for Monash) but it is worth it! They definitely check for chromosomal disorders, not sure about cf carrier. Have you been tested for cf? I am clear so some of our kids could be carriers, not all.
My hubbie is cf carrier and also has sperm retrieval via needle biopsy, we had 22 eggs, 18 mature, 11 fertilised. 10 still going at day 5 but only 5 good enough to freeze. Also no fresh transfer due to ohss.
I wish we had pgd tested all those 5 embryos. We are up to 4th transfer today, only one bfp which miscarried (probably because genetically abnormal). You are best when you have a good quantity of eggs/embryos to know that they are normal. It is a waste of your time, money and emotional well being to transfer possible dud embryos. Tell them you want pgd testing asap as you need counselling to do it.
It is my biggest regret of ivf and should be offered standard for all cycles. I would have paid and maybe wouldn't have had such a rough few months with unsuccessful transfer after transfer and a miscarriage. We had 2 grade a and 3 grade b embryos. Quality under the microscope does not mean the embryo is normal. A lot of grade a embryos are still genetically abnormal.

That's great news OneGreatDay. Not the OHSS but the rest of it.
Glad you found the transfer to be no issue 😊

    Congrats on being PUPO!
Seems like perfect timing with Easter being all about new life. It's a good omen.
Hopefully the TWW goes quickly for you.
