Default Period 5 days late, too early to tell?

    Hi ladies!
I am new here so any advice is greatly appreciated!
My husband and I have been trying since March and after being on the pill for 5 years it has taken a bit to get all the hormones out of my system.

On May 24th I ovulated and my period 4th of June. It has been 5 days and still no period.

I am not feeling sick, nor are my breasts tender, though they do seem more sensitive. I have been exhausted lately but then again I haven't been sleeping well. And I have had a headache for 3 days now.

If I take a pregnancy test is it too soon for any results to show up?

    Xx

Test! Definitely not too early. You have amazing restraint waiting this long!! Most tests are accurate from the first day of a missed period.

I took a test last night and it came up negative. My period still hasn't shown up so will take another test end of the week and if it's still negative I'll see my GP

Sorry to hear that - hopefully the next test will be positive.
