Very attached. I had two frosties 6 yrs ago and decided they were a boy and girl naming them 'Thor' and 'Isis' (previously had a beautiful nurturing meaning). It was my little joke about them being on ice and then needing to thaw. A little humor on an otherwise stressful journey doesn't go astray.

When we first did IVF we were pretty adamant that we would donate any extras to another couple, as we understand all too well how heartbreaking infertility can be. But since having DD and feeling so bonded to her, it's made me reconsider. We are currently doing a fresh cycle so who knows what the outcome will be, but if we have any leftover embies I would like to think we could reach a stage where we are comfortable donating them to someone who needs them. Either that or science.
