You do one LIT and then the next 4 weeks later and then hopefully CT so I'm guessing we head back around March/April..

$600 sounds a lot.. I haven't had my bill yet but for DH it was only $150 which we then claimed from medicare.. Maybe it's cheaper for you to fly to Syd?
Thanks Sal will have a read. We wanted to be in CT march/april too but it hasnt worked out that way. What a shame, we could have met up for some kind of fertility boosting smoothie or something! Very exciting for you. Fingers crossed that this is your time!!
I will double check on the prices before i sign the dotted line at clinipath have a nice weekend x

Hi ladies, rd intralipid in Melbourne - I am with Monash through nick lolatgis - re runs his own rooms outside of Monash and I'm sure if you called they could organise intralipid for you, he charges around $290 I believe - just book to be his patient as second opinion? Lulee call his personal rooms (not Monash) in Richmond or clayton - google him - and ask for his personal nurse (Sharon or Tracey) & plead your case?! Say you are really nervous to fly to Sydney & just need lipids done? You never know, he's perhaps open to doing it for you.. OR book to see him, do lipids in Sydney & then if you need more lipids you are set up with nick for future treatments! Good luck hun, so stressful I know xx

ECM re match blood testing I remember girls here paying $650 for it through Dr M's requests so it is probably right... Can Gwyneth help reassure you??? I had it done through nick lolatgis for half that but it was different & he consults with someone in USA over it for the answer. Will hunt the test results down & let you know xx

I did the hla testing through laverty in Sydney. It cost 345 each for dh and I. It is the same test the Red Cross do for donor organs, but for us we don't want matches, for donor organs you do!

It takes about 6 weeks to get the results.

I did two rounds of lit as dh and I had 5 hla matches including dq a and dqb.

I was also on neupogen, clexane, intralipids, prednisolone, progynova and baby aspirin.

We went to Hawaii in July for donor eggs and I am currently 28weeks pregnant.

I did intralipids 14 days before transfer, on bfp and then every three weeks till about 18 weeks it so then it's been every 4-5 weeks. I test again next week to see if I need more intralipids.

Dr m infuses the intralipids slower than other doctors and flushes with saline before and after. And does 500ml, I have heard some clinics do less.

He does do infusions during the week, although the hospital prefer the weekends when they are quieter.

Hi Sal just wondering if you have chosen your donor yet? We have found a good match for us and she is flexible with dates but we haven't got any results or treatment plan back from Dr M yet. Dont know whether i should request her for late may and hope thats enough time for Dr M to get us sorted?

Thanks PreciousHeart and Cheifsgirl for your help and info. Im guessing if we need LIT we will have to fly to Dr M? Did I tead somewhere on this forum that LIT only has a 30% success rate or was this for a different treatment? Did you get any info from your Dr about the chances of it working? X

Dr M does intralipids at Hurstville Private and it is $650 net plus any hospital cost if you don't have full private hospital insurance

Lit is with dr m in Sydney I don't know any others here that do it. It cost $1100 each time and is not covered by Medicare.

I'm not sure if success with and without. Just know if I hadn't of done it chances were pretty close to zero.
