Just pop back in on this thread quickly. Cathy69 is correct. I used to fly out Saturday early morning from Perth, spent a night at the hospital, flew out on Sunday morning. my PHI covered the hospital stay. To any new Perth ladies, you no longer need to fly out to Syd anymore since there is a dr here in Perth who would administer. 500ml, same price as DrM , save you the hassle and airfare. You can still do phone consult with dr M if you wish. Happy to pass on the info. Just PM me.

    Hi everyone ☺️.
We are seeing Dr Nick again in a month and there doesn't seem to be much feed back about him on here as there is about Dr Mathas. When we meet Dr Nick I really liked him and I feel I trust him. What is it Dr M do that different to Dr Nick? Or is it that many of you live in Sydney?

    Thanks Jodi

Dr Nick is a specialist in fertility, Dr M is a specialist in reproductive immunology...2 different fields.

    Thank you Miss Sagi.
From the impression we got from Dr NL he practices the protocol in the Dr Alan Beer book regarding all the immunity protocols. Also from my understanding he treats immune issues in fertility. Is this right?

    Hi all,

Just wanted to ask those of you who were/are on a high dose (1200mg) of progesterone with Dr M, did you notice any side effects? I'm terrified that I'm going to have another missed miscarriage. In the past when I wasnt taking progesterone my symptoms stopped so I knew the pregnancy wasn't going well, I'm concerned now that the progesterone will continue to give me pregnancy symptoms when things aren't going well. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?

I had my first lot of intralipids done yesterday. A boring way to spend a Saturday night but fingers crossed it is worth it! Arm a bit sore today just up from where cannula was.

From what the other girls have said about Dr NL I think he has turned to the book, however Dr M was mentored by Dr Beers, he knows all the ins and outs.

Sorry Autumn, I can't help you as I never got symptoms from prog, only random tenderness in breasts.

    Hi All,

I have sought advice from Dr M after having 5 miscarriages. I had my first phone consult a few weeks ago and have a follow up next week to go over blood test results. I am guessing he is going to recommend intralipids.

I am in Melbourne so would need to decide whether to do it here, or fly to Sydney to have it done as per Dr M's protocol. From what I have just read, it seems it is only done on a Saturday? Is this correct? Is that the only day or just a coincidence that people have said Saturday? I thought it had to be be done in certain time frames, eg a week before transfer?

    Thanks for your help.
