Yes, I agree. I used donor egg and I have 5 matches with my dh. We needed to do LIT and also used neupogen. I am currently 11w6d pregnant.

    Good evening ladies,

The book by Alan Beer "Is Your Body Baby Friendly" finally arrived today and I can't put it down. It's like a friend on the couch explaining and it all and giving you back hope. Although I still have lots of questions specifically for us it has explained they way it all works (or doesn't in our case) perfectly. In the book Dr Beer seems a lot more optimistic even in the most dire of "immune issues" where as I didn't get that vibe from Dr Nick although I do know he is very blunt and make no promises which I can understand too.

Hope everyone is well and getting some beautiful sunshine into their bones 😊

Jojo, and thats why I went with Dr M, he knows all of that inside and out whereas FS's just know the outline of some of it.
I had my final appt with Dr M today, it was a little sad after consulting with him for just over a year, but good in another way as he helped me fulfill my dream and that's why I have my 2 beautiful babies now.

I am so happy for you Miss Sagi. I know I don't know you but we are all in the same boat on this and you success certainly gives me hope. It was Dr Nick Lolagist who told us to get it. Said that he learnt Dr Beer methods and applies them here in Australia along with only with only a couple of other IVF practices. He also told us it's banned in parts of America which is interesting as Dr Beer was American.
I am so upset put other fertility clinic tried so many times without further investigation causing my NK cells to accelerate. But I suppose at least we know now.

My I ask Miss Sagi what was you specific problem? Did you share DQ alpha genes with you partner?
How many times did it take for you to fall pregnant? I'm assuming not many if you have only been seeing Dr M for a year.
I hope you don't mind my questions. Please feel free to tell me to nick off haha I'm sure you have your hands full

    Kind Regards
    Jo ☺️

Ask away Jojo, firstly if you go to the back of the book you will see Dr M is the only Australia specialist recommended for Dr Beer's treatment plans as Dr M was mentored by Dr Beers.
I'm doing it on my own so don't have a problem with partner immune issues.
I did 11 cycles in 2.5yrs. Only found out about my immune issues after 9 cycles (what a waste of money). Did the Dr M treatment plan on cycle 11 only, so worked first time. In saying that cycle 11 was also egg donor in South Africa, so between Dr M and the donor egg is what got me over the line.
My issues are MTHFR mutation gene (2 copies of it), NKC in uterus and blood and high ANA. (My FS didn't pick up the high ANA as it was within normal range, but apparently the result, although fine for a healthy person, it was high for concieving, this is what I mean about FS's not knowing the ins and outs)

Hi preciousheart, could you please help me by elaborating on the HLA thing or direct me to where I can find info on it. I will bring it up with my dr next week. I have done 3 transfers, 1 my own egg and 2 with donor egg. All bfn and the second donor transfer also included intralipids Maybe I need to look into what you are talking about and also get the hubby's sperm checked again. What tests to they do to see if you and your partner don't 'mix'? Thanks

Wow your story is fantastic!!! 11 cycles how did you keep going?
We have done 4 in 2.5 years and 6 embryo transfers and it so incredibly devastating!!! Good on you Miss Sagi.
I must have misunderstood Dr Nick I was under the impression he operates the same as Dr Beer. I hope he does. I really really do.
Enjoy your beautiful babies and thank you for taking the time to reply xx

Jojo, for me persistance and determination paid off, plus the debt that comes with that 😁
