Ladies does it make sense that if you have high nk then you don't get sick often. I can't even remember the last time I was sick and wondering if that's why.

Depends on your other immune issues. Some people are sick all the time.
But I'm like you, my main issue is high NK and couldn't tell you the last time i was sick with a cold or gastro or anything. When I was about 8 I had an ear infection and thays as bad as I've ever had.

Hi ladies, just had my consult with Dr M, 1st I've seen him since my last IVIG in Dec 2014. Has anyone done IVIG, neupogen and LIT together and zoladex too by chance? Along with the usual clexane, aspirin, progesterone at 880 to 1200mg daily. How did you find this concoction on your health?

Can I just impress on everyone to please get properly checked for adenomyosis - we did everything last year and spent a fortune but my genea FS had not thought my adenomyosis an issue or even mentioned it. Thanks to sootymay and Prof Tremellen at REpromed and a $500 MRI I was diagnosed with severe adeno which probably screwed up any chance we had last year on neup, IVIG, etc etc etc. You need zoladex as adeno is toxic to implantation along with all the other nk cells stuff, hla matches, whatever.

    Thanks so much xxx

It is a murky topic but my understanding was that NKC's in the uterus (not the ones generally in the body) do not impact general health and well being but rather they impact foreign cells in the uterus ie embryos. That is why usually a biopsy is part of the diagnosis not just blood tests.

It is very interesting topic. I am sick all the time since I was baby. Whole my family thought I had poor immunity, but the other way around. Professor Riminton explain to me in this way, my body over react to the flu or anything when the normal people would not even react, that is why I am sick all the time ( my body try too hard to a little tiny Bugs)

I did not get sick this winter at all because I was on Dex and Pres.

The weird thing is when I decided to take on this IVF journey I said to a girlfriend (because I never get sick), that my body will probably kill the embryos as they are foreign to my body. Sure enough after 9 failed cycles without any implantation I had the immune testing and that is exactly what my body did. Nkc in the uterine.

Yes, I also used to wonder with having unprotected sex (1 night stands)and thinking how lucky I was that I never got pregnant (not that I did it all the time as I didn't), when other women can have a 1 night stand and get pregnant.
Well, you're on to the issues now and you could be like me within a year....Pregnant! 😊

Charlie and Miss Sagi- I was exactly the same re NEVER being accidentally pregnant. I am convinced that I would not be pregnant now without the immune treatments.

Thanks so much for all of your advice on this thread. I now have dr beers book in my hand and am starting to realise I was doomed from that first Ivf attempt. Have my 4th embryo on board or should I say probably already departed on 3dp6dt 😞
