He's got low numbers in everything: motility, count, and morphology. That's why FS sent us directly to icsi.

If you're doing icsi the most important aspect to improve morph as the others aren't really a barrier. When I get a chance I'll look up what the suggestions are. Menivit will certainly be helping a lot

I also have my DH on zinc and royal jelly - not sure the 2 will help but I took RJ for my FET that resulted in our DD so we're both taking it this time, it can't hurt!

    Thank you @exilius @hope77.
Menevit haven't help him much, he's been on it for more than a year now and numbers are mostly the same. He's done acupuncture as well with no positive results at all.

How many grams of royal jelly is your hubby on @hope77? I've been on 1000mg a day to improve egg quality.

Have any of you heard of FertileAid?

    Thank you! Xxx

@Kookii we both take 1000mg a day. Also have him on CoQ10 75mg a day, I take this too, supposed to be good for sperm quality and in women good for circulation for implantation. Our last fresh cycle in March we both weren't taking anything and started the cycle day of our appointment with FS, which only resulted in 3 eggs and 1 to transfer which ended in miscarriage. Will be interested to see if anything improves this cycle.

I have heard of fertilaid but never taken it. It contains vitex chastes (sp?) which I have taken in Blackmores range but only took it while we were trying naturally, it didn't help!

There are some old posts on here about both royal jelly and CoQ10 if you're interested. I've also read good things about maca powder but haven't used a lot of it.

FertileAid for women contains vitex, the one for men is similar to Menevit but also contains L-carnitine, arginine, CoQ10 among other vitamins and aminoacids.

I'm not the issue, everything's average. I'm on Royal Jelly, CoQ10, vit D, Elevit, Fish Oil to improve egg quality.

I'll put him on RJ too (he doesn't like being on so many vits, I'll have to disguise them on his food. Lol)

Hi can I ask what CoQ10 is? I've never heard of it. How long does it take to get in your system? I have a FET probably in a month. Would there be any use in taking it even if I'm having a FET? Obviously it won't matter with egg quality then but does it help implantation at all?

Coq10 is really good for egg quality more than implantation from my reading. I've been advised only to take it for a fresh cycle. However aspirin (low dose) from the day of transfer plus bromidine (or something like that) and Brazil nuts really help implantation.

Maca is really hard to get them to take. It tastes foul, but some people like it in a smoothie if you think he'd go for that.

It certainly couldn't hurt to try fertileAid. It may well be that nothing short of prescription meds will help. But remember that numbers don't need to be great for ICSI. They only need 1 good sperm per mature egg.
