    The new title is perfect!
I'm going pretty well - moving more easily and eating real food. I had an iron infusion yesterday as well so feeling much brighter.
It looks like I'll be discharged tomorrow (the registrar just tried to send me home this morning and I was was like "Dude, I had a kidney transplant four days ago, give me another day!")and will head to mum and dads.
DH will take the three kids home to the farm which will be hard but new kidney is so so vulnerable to infection that we just don't want to risk it.
The biggest head spin is all the medications, boxes and boxes of anti-rejection meds, steroids, antibiotics and a billion other things that all have to be taken at specific times and different strengths depending on the days blood results. It's pretty daunting but I guess I'll get the hang of it!
It's really all going as well as it possibly could be though so very happy girl here 😊

Tomorrow!? I would have thought 2 weeks in hospital at least! Especially with the infection risk.

Wow I am shocked. Some mums stay longer when they have a baby. I would have thought 2 weeks as well. Crazy.

I am glad you are doing so well.

They like to ship em out fast these days don't they!

That's fantastic news things are going so well though.

You know.. It's been great to have insight into the journey of a transplant recipient. Not great that someone needs to have one. It just astounds me how far medical technology has come to be able to do something like that.

Best place to pick up an infection is in hospital.
