I found out yesterday that I have end stage (stage 5) Chronic Kidney Disease. I have 10-15 percent kidney function left and have 12 months approximately until I need dialysis.
I'm only 34. I have three small kids. I'm so frightened and sad, I'm up and down like a yoyo. I know I'll be okay, my family is amazing and DH and I will walk our road together no matter how bumpy - hell, we'll walk off a cliff holding hands. But I feel really sad right now and only my husband, parents and brother know.
I just need to process it I guess.

Wow. You poor thing! Do they know how you developed it? It'll be ok. It'll be an inconvenience but if you get your dialysis on time you can live a pretty normal life.
